Our Mission and Values

Our Mission
Following – Growing – Connecting
Following the example of Christ, we are growing together, connecting with community through God’s grace.
What does this mean?
Following the example of Christ through service
Jesus’ ministry was defined by his service and treatment of others. At our core, we strive to emulate Jesus by making a positive impact in the Thomasville community, loving our neighbors, and serving them selflessly.
We are growing together in faith
We believe that ministry is more impactful when done together rather than alone. By supporting each other, we bring out the best in one another and foster growth in faith, love, and good deeds.
– 2 Peter 1:2 –
Connecting with community
We are summoned to be present and active in each other’s lives and within the Thomasville community. We aim to create a welcoming space where the community can come together.
– Galatians 6:2 –
Our Core Values
The principles that define who we are as a community and make our mission possible.
Fellowship
We believe in feeding ourselves spiritually by gathering together in community to play and enjoy time in community.
Support
We believe that when Jesus says, “feed my sheep” (John 21:17) it’s a call to support each other, the Thomasville community, and especially those who are hungry.
Grace
Living into our name, we believe that all that we do is possible because of God’s Grace, God’s unconditional love and forgiveness given to us through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.
Welcome
We believe that all people are welcome to be part of our mission and ministry.
Worship
We believe in the Lutheran tradition of a rich liturgical worship that brings comfort and invites many to participate in worship.
Service
We believe in serving one another and our neighbors following the example of Christ.
